Executive Director EB James comes to the Nanticoke Watershed Alliance from Pickering Creek Audubon Center, an environmental center of the National Audubon Society. While at the Audubon he managed and wrote grants, and developed the farm program. He holds a BA in English and Psychology from St. Olaf College in Minnesota and an MS in Forestry with a minor in Conflict Management from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He was trained in mediation and environmental dispute resolution through the University of Minnesota Hubert Humphry Institute’s Center for Conflict and Change. Previously, he managed the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Port Isobel Environmental Center, taught fishing and guided canoe and kayak trips in Northern Minnesota and on the Potomac River.

Program Coordinator Megan Ward originates from Lexington, Kentucky but most recently joins us from the mountains of North Carolina. Her education includes a BA in Geography from the University of Kentucky and an MS in Park and Resource Management from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. Her diverse experience in the field of conservation and environmental education includes extensive work at local, state and federal levels of government including the National Park Service as well with private non-profit organizations like The Nature Conservancy.
